It Almost Makes You Want To BEG For Poor Eyesight!

I recently found this website that has THE most amazing glasses frames EVER!
The website is called Prism London and I first heard of them through Nylon about three months ago. At that time, the website was under consruction...which was disappointing...but now they have all kinds of info up including some AMAZING glasses frames.
Its the shapes that I like the most...most glasses nowadays are so boring. They're either black thick frames (like mine...which I rarely wear because I have contacts)...or really thin ones, which I hate with passion. And the shapes are dull.

There's 5 unique styles of glasses on the website, each named after a big city:
London

New York

Paris

Rio

Rome

I definately cannont decide on a favorite! Gr, I would LOVE to get my hands on a pair of these...unfortunately I just got new frames about 4-5 months ago and my parents won't go for it. :(

I'm A Terrible Person

Oh dear.
I am so sorry I lied to you all.
I'm sorry I've been gone for so long...
But I just didn't realize school would get so hectic as the end of the year got closer!
If you are reading this at all, I seriously love you for not forgetting me.
Ugh...
I don't even know how to make up for this, but I figured I should share my "The Girl With The Pearl Earring" edit, since I promised!

Before:

After:

Not quite as good as Snow White, but nevertheless fun to do!
I really want to try some more of these...
Any suggestions?

Some Day My Prince Will Come...

First day back at school after Spring Break.
Honestly it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Which was definately good because I was DREADING going to school.

Anyways...on to more interesting things...
I made this coolie photo for this contest Picnik is having on Flickr.
The theme was "Picnik Goes To The Movies".
So I dressed up/edited myself to look like Snow White! =]
Before:
After:

It was VERY fun to do. I'm also working on one of myself for "The Girl With The Pearl Earring." I'll post that too once its done. =]

Also, I've decided to order the cute Converse for now. I might get the other ones sometime later though...because they are also pretty amazing. (By the way, they're both from Journeys to the person who asked=])

TTYL!

And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going!

Seriously! I'm not, I promise!
My parents have banned me from the computer for the last 4-5 days since my room is less than clean (*cough* absolutely disgusting) and said I'm not allowed to use the internet until its done.

Well... its not done. But currently I'm working on a Biology assignment and figured that while I was at it I would make a brief post, because who knows how long it will be until I can get online again! (If you'd seen my room, you'd understand...)

Peace. =]

P.S.
This is my robot, Billie! (Don't ask, it was the first thing that popped in my head!)
I made him when I volunteered at this Arts Festival a couple weeks ago, and me and my friend Kara helped kids make cute buttons! Isn't he adorable?

"No...I Don't Think You Should Dance By The Road. They Might Think You're A Prostitute."

So, I went to my lovely friend Meghan's (and her twin sister Morgan's) Sweet Sixteen last night! It was fabulous...we danced...and danced...and danced some more...and I got to talk to some awesome people that I haven't seen in years...
And I managed to rip the slit in the back of my dress right up to my butt. I had to wrap my friend's jacket around myself so I wouldn't look like a skank dancing. I ended up wearing a different dress than I originally had planned, because the other one's material would have made me SWEAT like crazy! This is what I ended up wearing...this lovely dress that was my mom's in the 80s with this amazing necklace!:Then today I wore it like this (although I changed a little while ago because my mom didn't want to have to get the dress dry cleaned!) I love these two patterns together and I love this picture!:

I'm getting my hair cut on Tuesday! It was supposed to be Saturday, but my hairdresser got really sick...I'll definately take some pics once I get it cut! But its not gonna be DRASTIC so don't get too excited.

Peace! =]

I Hate The Way You Look Away, Not A Smile, No Thought Today.

First of all, I am VERRRRRRRRRRY happy Kate Winslet got an Oscar! I think she is an amazing actress, and I'm glad that finally she's being recognized for that. However, I really wish she had gotten an Oscar for her performance in Titanic. I watched that movie for the first time since 3rd grade a couple days ago and was amazed by how well she portrayed the part...and I bawled my eyeballs out...even though I already knew Jack was gonna die. =[ And the whole time I wanted to just throw Cal into the ocean. HATE HIM.

Also, has anyone seen Slumdog Millionare? Because I was thinking of renting it since it won so many awards....was it good?

Second of all, I am not dead =] (duh.) even though I've been missing for a few days...

Third, hilariousness I heard the other day at J.C. Penney:

Little Boy (to his Grandma): "...yeah my teachers get on to me all the time because I like to wear the shirt from my Halloween costume to school...and it has a cobra on it!"

It was the funniest thing because I expected him to say something BAD...oh man, what a cool kid. Wearing his cobra shirt! haha. I got a new dress that day too, but I haven't taken pictures yet...coming soon! =]

That's it for now! I reallllllly need to do my homework! =/

Funfun.

If You Want Us To "Carry On Your Legacy" You Actually Have To Graduate Sweetie!

I saw the most FABULOUS pair of shoes on this guy in my AP World History class today, although I think he was really shocked that I thought they were so amazing!
They were plain black sneakers...with pink, red, and cream-colored paint splattered all over them (from playing paintball, he told me)! Oh man, I will have to make some DIY shoes like this!
When I do I'll DEFINATELY post pictures...
But should I do sneakers...or some other type of shoe like heels? hmmmmmmmmm...
ALSO I got my March issue of Teen Vogue a couple days ago and just LOVED this editorial with all these different nail designs! I'm definately inspired to try some new nail art! Actually I did try something similar to the 4th picture a couple days ago in yellow and pink, but I chipped them BADLY and I repainted them purple. And I didn't take pictures....=[

ALSO, congrats to all the bloggers who were featured in that issue. The article was really great and I LOVE how supportive Teen Vogue is of bloggers! =]

Confessions of a Lazy BumBum

Its been like what...three days since my last post?
I was gonna post last night, but I was too tired/lazy to finish cropping/resizing/editing pictures...
Over the last 3 days I have:
1. Had my GHP (Governor's Honors Program*) dinner.
2. Had some REALLY good cake on my brother's birthday! (Funfetti cake! My favorite!)
3. Got my SEQUIN LEGGINGS!!!!! HECK YESSSS!!! (which unfortunately i'm not allowed to wear til my birthday....) And this really cute top.
4. Found out me and Omega get to be MCs! (With two other people who auditioned) Its going to be like the other two people trick us into thinking there's a secret agent "mission" to get us off stage. I think it will work out...
5. Ate my way through 3 boxes of strawberry Mentos. Which is probably my favorite type of candy in the whole world. But it HAS to be strawberry. The mint ones are gross....

Now for a buttload of pics of my leggings and new shirt(the blue one)...and my outfit from GHP dinner:
I entered this picture in Weardrobe's contest this week for the best look with Converse! The prize is a $50 Converse gift card!

Blue Shirt, Black Ruffle Top, Sequin Leggings: Express, Orange Argyle Cardigan: ?, Hot Pink Converse: delias.com

GHP Dinner:

Shirt: Mom's, Coat: Hot Topic, Pants: Express, Heart Necklace and Earrings: Christmas present...although I think its from Kohls, Heels: Marshalls, Corsage: GHP peoples...

Three day weekend! Man, I am happy about that! Thank you for living Martin Luther King Jr!

*GHP is basically a six-week program in the summer, where you have a major (the area you were nominated in), a minor, and one other area of interest. Its pretty much a college experience. I was nominated in theatre, passed both school and county interviews, and now I'm on to the final state interview the on the 31th. I'm so excited!
